The necessary components for this smartphone are shipped from China to be assembled in our homeland. I have been using a Primo E8i for a while now, and I think their product is absolutely brilliant!

The first smartphone made in Bangladesh is comprised of the following hardware:

  • 1.2 GHz¬†Quad Core Processor
  • Mali-400 GPU
  • 512Mb RAM
  • 8Gb internal storage
  • 5 and 2 megapixel rear and front cameras respectively
  • 1700 mAh Li-ion battery
  • Android Marshmallow OS

The locally designed smartphone by Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd. is now available at your local retail stores for Tk 3,500.

I wanted a Chinese smartphone in the first place, but a sleek black E8i caught my attention. Furthermore, the E8i has an outstanding battery life of five hours without the battery recharge.

Bangladesh is progressing at a marvelous pace in terms of technology. Hence, it’s time for us as consumers and citizens to invest more in our local products.

Businesses, on the other hand, must practice the technique for generating trust among their customers. And in order to do it perfectly, customers (you and I) are also entitled to aftersales services.

I can alter my Primo E8i from any Walton showrooms in Bangladesh if anything happens to it. 1 year of warranty and free servicing from any Walton showroom.

If this phone serves me well, I will be gifting one to my brother for his birthday.
